Get Involved At US Military Penpals.
I have a son in the military and I constantly worry about how my boy is doing. I can remember when he first told me that he was considering joining the military.
The parent in me was scared that something would happen to him, but the human being in me was proud. When I found out that he was deployed, I was so scared because I knew that I would not be able to talk to him everyday.
One day, I found US Military Penpals, and it seemed as if all of my prayers had been answered.
This site provided me with a chance to keep in touch with my boy and constantly assure him how proud I am of what he does. He recently responded to one of my letters, and he was so happy that I started using US Military Penpals.
He told me that he received letters and messages from so many appreciative citizens, and that keeps him fighting for the freedoms that he has been afforded. I love my son as I am sure any parent would love a child. Now, I have a way to express those feelings.
